Runway to Real Life

While you’re snapping up the new trends for your wardrobe, spare a thought for your hair – it needs an update too! So we’ve teamed up with TONI&GUY to bring you the hottest autumn looks. Can you recreate these at home, and will they work on the street? To find out, we’ve put them through their paces in a weekly series of style trials. This week: casual chic.

    Off to the office

    Layer up your morning outfit with a coat and scarf, and mix your textures for a autumn/winter ’12 look. Freshly blow-dryed hair looks sleek – gently curl the ends for a casual take on a classic look.

  1. Apply TONI&GUY Casual Sea Salt Spray, section by section to ensure even distribution.

  2. Power-dry the hair: tip head upside down and use hands to move the hair around in different directions.Twist and dry sections of hair. Shake hair through with fingers from underneath.

  3. Place hair in a low side parting, take a panel of hair across the forehead and pin just above the top of the ear. Use TONI&GUY Casual Sculpting Powder at the roots for extra texture. Fix with TONI&GUY Casual Flexible Hold Hairspray.
